Served in the Government Medical Service for nearly three decades, holding several key positions, including Tutor, Assistant Surgeon, Civil Surgeon, and Physician.

Throughout this distinguished career, contributed to medical education, patient care, and public healthcare services. Retired from government service while serving as the Superintendent of Government Hospital, Karuvelipady, demonstrating a long-standing commitment to healthcare administration and medical service.

Leadership & Social Contributions

Alongside his medical career, actively contributed to professional medical associations, community organisations, and social welfare initiatives, holding several prominent leadership positions.

1. Vice President – Indian Red Cross Society, Kochi Branch
   Contributed to humanitarian activities, community welfare initiatives, and healthcare-related social services through the organisation.
2. President – Indian Medical Association (IMA), Cochin West Branch
   Led professional initiatives and supported the medical fraternity through association activities, professional engagement, and healthcare awareness programmes.
3. Founder President – Rameswaram Residents Association
   Played a key role in establishing the residents’ association and promoting community participation, neighbourhood development, and collective welfare.
4. President – Y’s Men’s Club of Heritage City
   Provided leadership in community service activities, social initiatives, and programmes aimed at supporting and uplifting society.
5. District Service Director – Diabetes Awareness, Y’s Men’s Club District 1
   Took an active role in promoting diabetes awareness, encouraging preventive healthcare practices, and supporting community education on diabetes management.
